West Ham will move into their new stadium for the start of the 2016-17 season.

The full details of West Ham United's deal as tenants of the Olympic Stadium should be made public, according to former Leyton Orient chairman Barry Hearn.

West Ham are to play their final season at Upton Park before moving to the converted 54,000-seater Olympic Stadium in the 2016-17 campaign.

Last week it was revealed the cost of converting the Olympic Stadium into West Ham's new home has risen to £272 million, rocketing the overall cost of the project to £701m.

Leyton Orient announce former player Ian Hendon will be club's next manager

After a disappointing season, Leyton Orient players hope new boss Ian Hendon can turn things around for the club.

Former Leyton Orient captain Ian Hendon is to become the club's new head coach later this summer.

Hendon will begin his new role on July 1, and replaces Fabio Liverani who left the club following their relegation from League One.

"Orient is a club that means a great deal to me - I hope that fans will remember the commitment I showed as a player, and know they can expect the same dedication from me as head coach,'' Hendon said.

The 43-year-old had been first-team coach at West Ham under Sam Allardyce,...

Fabio Liverani leaves League One club Leyton Orient by mutual consent

Fabio Liverani has been in charge less than a year.

Fabio Liverani has left his role as manager of Leyton Orient by mutual consent.

The former Italy international, who took charge at Brisbane Road in December 2014, could not keep the O's in League One as they suffered relegation less than a year after being on the brink of a place in the Championship.

Liverani's assistants Maurizio Cantarelli and Marcello Donatelli have also left.

A brief statement on the club's official website said: "The club would like to thank Fabio, Maurizio and Marcello for...

Leyton Orient were relegated from SkyBet League One after surrendering a two-goal lead against 10-man Swindon Town, who fought back to draw 2-2 at the County Ground.

Goals either side of half-time by Dean Cox and Chris Dagnall gave Orient a 2-0 cushion before Anton Rodgers replied for Swindon and Andy Williams levelled the scores with a late penalty.

Orient had the opportunity to win the match long before Swindon's comeback - Lloyd James having a 20th minute penalty saved after a bizarre situation...

Play-offs-bound Sheffield United earned a 1-1 draw after Bob Harris' goal cancelled out a header by Mathieu Baudry that had given relegation-threatened Leyton Orient the lead.

The home side had huffed and puffed without reward until the 71st minute when central defender Baudry met a corner from Dean Cox and sent an unstoppable header into the top right-hand corner from eight yards.

However, in front of the O's biggest attendance of the season, Harris scored just six minutes later to win the Blades...
