Teenage striker Sam Dalby is expected to return from injury for Leyton Orient in their Sky Bet League Two clash with Morecambe.

The 17-year-old scored on his full debut on Boxing Day but has not featured since New Year's Eve due to an ankle problem.

Captain Robbie Weir and Liam Kelly remain long-term absentees through Achilles and hamstring injuries respectively.

Experienced defender Alan Dunne left the club by mutual consent on Wednesday having not started a league game this season.

Conor Chaplin missed a penalty and scored a brace as Portsmouth beat Leyton Orient 2-1 at Fratton Park.

Chaplin took his goal tally to seven for the season and is now Pompey's leading goalscorer along with Gary Roberts.

Pompey were awarded a penalty in the 21st minute after Enda Stevens was fouled by defender Sammy Moore just inside the box.

Chaplin stepped up to take the spot-kick but Orient's goalkeeper Alex Cisak guessed the right way and parried the ball out for a corner.

Ryan Harley scored twice to help Exeter thrash Leyton Orient 4-0 at St James Park.

Exeter made an excellent start by taking the lead inside four minutes as recalled striker Reuben Reid provided the assist for David Wheeler to score his fourth goal in five matches with a deft close-range finish.

Ollie Watkins, fresh from a hat-trick the day after his 21st birthday at Newport last time out, missed several chances to increase Exeter's lead, with one of those a fierce shot that smashed against the post.

Substitute Ollie Palmer salvaged a point for Leyton Orient in stoppage time as they drew 1-1 with Cambridge United at Brisbane Road.

The visitors had taken a first-half lead through Harrison Dunk and looked set to add to their five successive Sky Bet League Two wins until Palmer's late intervention.

There was little between the two teams in the opening 20 minutes, although the visitors' Luke Berry saw his ninth-minute cross-cum-shot go across the face of the goal with nobody on hand to apply the final...
