MK Dons moved to within a point of the automatic promotion places after cruising to a 6-1 win over Leyton Orient, who slipped into the bottom four.

Dean Bowditch kick-started the rout in the 22nd minute when he poked home at the far post from a Will Grigg cross, before Rob Hall added a second two minutes later with a cross-shot that sailed through a crowded penalty area and into the net.

Grigg netted a third, and his 21st of the campaign, from the penalty spot after Dele Alli was brought down under...

A goal by Rob Jones on 57 minutes settled a drab affair to give Doncaster Rovers a 1-0 win at relegation-threatened Leyton Orient.

It was a hammer blow for the home side who were unable to break down the resilient Donny defence who packed their defence at the first sign of threat.

The visitors began the second half more purposefully and Orient paid the price for failing to deal with a set-piece when Kyle Bennett sent in a cross and central defender Jones found himself unmarked to power his header past...

Darius Henderson's equaliser secured Leyton Orient a 1-1 draw at Crewe and kept his side out of the bottom four.

Both sides were level on points going into the relegation tussle at Gresty Road and the point will be more welcome to the Londoners, who have a game in hand on Crewe.

Lauri Dalla Valle put Crewe ahead in the 10th minute when he made the most of goalkeeper Alex Cisak's failure to hold Greg Leigh's shot-cum-cross and prodded in.

Jobi McAnuff volleyed wildly past the post when offered a sight...

Andrea Dossena now plays for League One club Leyton Orient.

Former Liverpool player Andrea Dossena has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of shoplifting at London department store Harrods, according to the BBC.

Dossena, 33, left Liverpool in 2010 to join Napoli and now plays for League One club Leyton Orient.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers were called to the Knightsbridge store on Tuesday.

"Police arrested a 33-year-old male and a 31-year-old woman on April 7 on suspicion of shoplifting at Harrods. They were taken to a west London...

A thriller at Brisbane Road saw Leyton Orient and Gillingham draw 3-3 in League One.

Lloyd James, Darius Henderson and Josh Wright scored for the home side while Gills replied with a brace by Cody McDonald and a goal from Jermaine McGlashan.

In a game with so many chances for both sides, it was the O's who opened the scoring when winger Ryan Hedges was tripped in the box and James stepped forward to slam the ball into the net from the penalty spot.

Gillingham responded with two goals in eight minutes...
