Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd caused his old side more early-season frustration as his goal helped Kilmarnock to a 1-1 Ladbrokes Premiership draw at Rugby Park.

The frontman was part of a team Ibrox chairman Dave King claimed had ``failed miserably'' when they missed out on promotion a year ago.

But he put in a vintage display as he netted his 250th goal in British football with the opener against Mark Warburton's disjointed Gers. James Tavernier did level after the break with a superb free-kick...

Liam Boyce's double eased Ross County to a deserved three points against Kilmarnock in a scrappy Ladbrokes Premiership game at the Global Energy Stadium.

Boyce followed up his hat-trick in the Highland derby win last week with a clinical double in a 2-0 win against a Kilmarnock side who lacked a killer touch in front of goal.

Boyce was back to his best, taking his tally to five in two games in a County team that had no failures in it.

County forced a corner after just 20 seconds but Martin Woods' kick...

Kilmarnock stirred themselves to come from behind and beat Hamilton 2-1 in their Ladbrokes Premiership clash at the SuperSeal Stadium.

Accies midfielder Louis Longridge opened the scoring in the 26th minute of a mostly lifeless first half that was edged by the home side.

Kilmarnock showed little improvement after the break and the game appeared to be drifting to a Hamilton win.

However, striker Kris Boyd levelled with a header in the 70th minute before substitute Souleymane Coulibaly scored the winner...

Kilmarnock were without Charlton target Josh Magennis as they suffered a 2-1 home defeat by Motherwell on the opening day of the Ladbrokes Premiership season.

Killie cut their pitch dimensions but still allowed Motherwell too much room when Lionel Ainsworth netted with a glorious chip in the 40th minute and Marvin Johnson headed home 28 seconds after the restart.

Lee Clark started with only three of his 11 summer signings but he is still looking for the right formula following their Betfred Cup exit,...

Kilmarnock exited the Betfred Cup following a goalless draw against Albion Rovers at Rugby Park where the League One outfit won a bonus point with a 5-3 penalty shoot-out win.

It was a jittery and disjointed performance from the Ladbrokes Premiership side who were more than matched by the composed visitors.

Substitute Ross Stewart, skipper Michael Dunlop, Paul Willis, Kyle Turnbull and substitute Scott McBride scored from the spot for the Coatbridge men.

Killie captain Steven Smith, Gary Dicker and...
