Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi says the Serie A club's experience will be important when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the round of 16 of the Champions League next year.

Juve, who have reached two finals in the past three seasons, host Spurs on Feb. 13 before travelling to Wembley on March 7 and Matuidi is convinced the Bianconeri will have the edge.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has said winning the Champions League is now an objective rather than a dream.

The Serie A champions have lost to Barcelona and Real Madrid in two of the past three Champions League finals, and Agnelli has now set his sights on the trophy.

Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved has told Paulo Dybala to sort out his private life and focus on his football after the forward's form dipped.

Dybala, 24, was dropped for Juve's 0-0 draw with Inter Milan on Saturday night as coach Massimiliano Allegri reacted to his recent run of just one goal in eight games by recalling Mario Mandzukic and playing him in a three-man attack alongside Gonzalo Higuain and Juan Cuadrado.

Tottenham's Pochettino welcomes 'massive challenge' vs. Juventus

Mauricio Pochettino welcomed Tottenham's Champions League round-of-16 draw with Juventus, calling it a "massive challenge" against a club he has always wanted to face.

Pochettino is from Argentina, but he told Spurs' website that his family has roots in Turin, and he was enthusiastic to make the trip to the Serie A leaders on Feb. 13 before the return back at Wembley on March 7.
