New signing Felipe keen to prove his worth at Inter

Felipe signed a four-month deal with Inter after departing crisis-hit Parma.

Brazilian defender Felipe believes that the greatest challenge of his career lies ahead of him after joining Inter Milan until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old signed a four-month deal with Inter last week after terminating his contract with crisis-club Parma in January due to a dispute over unpaid wages.

Felipe is eager to make the desired impact at Inter in a bid to extend his stay past this summer.

"This is a great opportunity for me," Felipe told his club's official website. "Inter is...

Serie A club debt rose to 1.7 billion euros, report says

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni and captain Alessandro Lucarelli faced the media on Saturday to explain why the team has decided not to play its next Serie A match in Genoa.

The overall debt of clubs in Serie A last season rose to over 1.7 billion euros with the situation at Parma symptomatic of a league in general financial difficulty.

Parma are on the verge of bankruptcy with wages not paid since July last year, however an investigation by La Gazzetta dello Sport said that they are not the only Italian club struggling to make ends meet. Inter Milan and Roma, two giants of the Italian game, have some of the biggest debts, which is why they are also subject to UEFA Financial...

Lukas Podolski not bothered by criticism of Inter Milan performances

Lukas Podolski has struggled to impress since joining Inter Milan.

Inter Milan loan signing Lukas Podolski says he needs to live with criticism after being named the second-worst Serie A capture of January.

Podolski, 29, has yet to open his account for the Nerazzurri and has struggled for form since arriving until the end of the season from Arsenal.

The Germany international's recent performances, which included a corner that did not make it into Fiorentina's box on Sunday, have led to him finishing as runner-up behind AC Milan's Alessio Cerci for Gazzetta Dello...

Inter Milan need more from ineffective Podolski, Kovacic

Lukas Podolski is the first German to play at Inter Milan in 22 years.
Loaned from Arsenal in the winter window, Podolski has been a disappointment at Inter thus far.

Mohamed Salah's strike made the difference between Inter and Fiorentina on Sunday evening. The in-form winger gave his side an important away win and showed that once again he could turn a game for the Viola.

The Milanese club could only look on as two of their potential difference-makers didn't step up to the mark. Lukas Podolski and Mateo Kovacic have failed on numerous occasions this season to adapt to the playing style of Roberto Mancini.

Inter and Fiorentina approached the game with confidence...

Inter Milan won't sell Mauro Icardi, says sporting director Piero Ausilio

ESPN FC's Janusz Michallik responds to the rumors that several premier league clubs are targeting Inter's Mauro Icardi.

Inter Milan have no intention of selling star striker Mauro Icardi this summer.

Reports in Italy claimed Inter could put the Argentina international on the market at the end of the season if the Nerazzurri fail to qualify for the Champions League in the 2015-16 campaign.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio vehemently denied those rumours and insists that Icardi, who is a reported target of Premier League sides Chelsea and Liverpool, will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.

He told his...
