Fiorentina have disassociated themselves from remarks made by one of their directors after he criticised Inter Milan for making an approach for Mohamed Salah, who has declined to return to Florence next season.
Martin Montoya is the latest addition to the Inter squad following the arrival of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Joao Miranda and Jeison Murillo. The Inter rebuild is certainly taking shape and the signing of the Barcelona full-back will certainly reinforce a weak area for the Nerazzurri. The squad is now taking shape under manager Roberto Mancini and there will be more additions to come. While fans can feel optimistic about the upcoming season, there perhaps should also be a little bit of caution too.
Juventus managing director Giuseppe Marotta would consider signing Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado on loan but said both Mohamed Salah and Stevan Jovetic are set to join one of the Milan clubs.
Cuadrado joined Chelsea from Fiorentina during the winter transfer window, but the Colombia international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after struggling to make an impact in England.
Inter Milan have signed Jeison Murillo from Granada and Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya.
Colombia centre-back Murillo comes with a fee of €8 million, while Montoya has agreed a one-year loan deal with the option to extend the deal.
A statement on Murillo, who has penned a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri, read: "FC Internazionale is delighted to announce that it has completed the permanent signing of Jeison Murillo from Granada.
