Internacional's Fabricio suspended for swearing at own supporters

Fabricio was sent off for taunting Internacional fans.

Fabricio has been suspended by Internacional after turning against supporters of the club during a match against Ypiringa.

The incident came in a Campeonato Gaucho clash as the Brazilian reacted to taunting from the crowd by flicking the middle finger of each hand repeatedly towards fans.

He had been in possession of the ball but gave it up and walked sullenly off the pitch before being shown the red card by referee Luis Teixeira.

Charles Aranguiz interested in Arsenal transfer

Chile international Charles Aranguiz has said it would be a "dream" to join Arsenal.

Aranguiz, who plays for Brazilian club Internacional, has been linked with a move to the Premier League .

The midfielder, 25, was in action for Chile at Emirates Stadium on Sunday as his country lost 1-0 to Brazil.

Brazil introduces plan to renegotiate club debts, force fiscal responsibility

Fans of the Brazilian domestic game have had little to celebrate given the clubs' poor management over the years.

RIO DE JANEIRO -- Brazil's government wants to let football clubs renegotiate $1.2 billion in debts but in the process force them to start spending more wisely.

The measure signed by President Dilma Rousseff on Thursday gives Brazilian clubs up to 20 years to pay what they owe to the federal government. In exchange, they must manage their finances more professionally.

Congress still has to approve the measure.
