Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers hailed his team's performance in overturning a 1-0 deficit against the Lincoln Red Imps.

FC Copenhagen control Crusaders in Champions League qualifying

Danish champions FC Copenhagen cruised to a 3-0 win over Northern Ireland side Crusaders in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round on Wednesday.

Federico Santander's header opened the scoring in the 19th minute before a diving header from Andreas Cornelius made it 2-0 five minutes before the break.

Rasmus Falk scored from distance early in the second half to complete a comfortable win for Copenhagen ahead of their home leg.

Norrkoping captain Johansson issues formal apology for dreadful dive

Norrkoping captain Andreas Johansson says he is "very ashamed" of himself after damning footage of his dreadful playacting in the Swedish top flight went viral earlier in the week.

As previously featured on Toe Poke, Johansson attempted to con the referee during Norrkoping's recent tie against AIK by nudging his nose against striker Mohamed Bangura's outstretched arm and then flopping to the floor in mock agony. It truly was pitiful.
