Winger Harry Bunn scored twice in five minutes early on as Huddersfield Town recorded a 4-2 Sky Bet Championship victory over Blackpool.

The Terriers were three up inside 16 minutes and it could have been 6-0 before half-time but for excellent saves from Blackpool keeper Joe Lewis.

Two goals in first-half stoppage time for the visitors threatened to turn the game on its head. But Huddersfield clung on to register their third win in four unbeaten matches as their climb up the table continues.

Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes missed a penalty against his former side as Rovers drew 0-0 with Huddersfield at Ewood Park.

Quite how no goals were scored is a mystery, but no chance was better than around the hour mark when Rhodes placed his spot-kick wide on his 100th league appearance for Blackburn.

The hosts peppered Huddersfield's goal, especially in the second half, but Alex Smithies saved well from Rhodes and Lee Williamson in particular, while the visitors could have snatched the points late...

Huddersfield's stranglehold on Wolves continued as they silenced Molineux to deny the hosts top spot.

The Terriers have now won seven straight games against Wolves and their 3-1 victory inflicted a first home league defeat on Kenny Jackett's side since last December.

Harry Bunn and Sean Scannell scored in the first half before Conor Coady's brilliant third after the break.

Bakary Sako pulled one back but Wolves have now not beaten Huddersfield since 1997.

Huddersfield striker Nahki Wells scored twice against Millwall to secure Chris Powell's first win as Town manager.

The former Bradford forward struck a sweet first-half volley and kept his cool to net a penalty after controversy involving referee Carl Boyeson.

Edward Upson had equalised for the visitors but there was to be no denying Wells and his team for a first home win in 11 matches.

The opening half hour was dreadful but Upson woke both sides up by rattling the bar on 29 minutes.
