Paul Hanlon's early goal earned Hibernian full points at Ross County as Neil Lennon's men moved above Rangers into fourth spot in the Ladbrokes Premiership with a 1-0 win.

Hanlon powered in John McGinn's corner in the 13th minute and though Anthony Stokes was frustrated in his efforts to add to their lead, one goal was enough.

Ex-Inverness striker Billy McKay was a threat on his first start for the hosts but Hibs held firm.

The Staggies, whose only league victory this season came on day one at Dundee,...

A late Anthony Stokes penalty proved enough for Hibernian to book a Betfred Cup semi-final spot with a 3-2 win over Livingston.

Stokes stepped up confidently to net his seventh of the season from the spot after Paul Hanlon had been brought down to spare the hosts' blushes at Easter Road.

Livingston had taken the lead against the run of play twice, through Alan Lithgow and Raffaele De Vita, but goals from Danny Swanson and Martin Boyle drew Hibs level before Stokes' winner.

Following Saturday's collapse...

Louis Moult hit a double as Motherwell came from two down to seal a Ladbrokes Premiership point at Easter Road.

Anthony Stokes had scored a brace himself, netting a 21st-minute penalty before capitalising on some slack defending to put Hibernian well in command 12 minutes into the second half.

But Moult - who earlier hit the woodwork - headed Motherwell back in the game and made it 2-2 with an impressive strike 10 minutes later.

The visitors threatened to complete the comeback but Hibs composed themselves.

Hibs...

Michael O'Halloran's fine start in Perth continued as his fifth goal of the season helped St Johnstone maintain their unbeaten start with a 1-1 draw at home to Hibernian.

The Rangers loanee tapped in at the far post early in the second half to net his fifth in as many games since rejoining the club at the start of the season.

However, Paul Paton was forced to divert into the back of his own net soon after as Neil Lennon's Hibs pressed, but despite heavy pressure in the second half they were unable...

Scott Bain produced a brilliant display in goal to save a first point of the season for Neil McCann's Dundee against Hibernian.

The goalkeeper produced a string of fine saves to send a frustrated Neil Lennon back to Leith with just a point following a 1-1 draw at Dens Park.

Kevin Holt opened the scoring for the hosts from the spot after Roarie Deacon was brought down, before Anthony Stokes levelled before the break.

The visitors enjoyed the best of the game and could easily have won but for a stunning...
