Manchester United interest flattering and I would consider offer - Andreas Granqvist

Helsingborg centre-back Andreas Granqvist has said he is flattered by reports linking him with Manchester United and would consider a "concrete offer" to move to Old Trafford.

Reports have suggested Sweden international Granqvist is a potential target in January after United manager Jose Mourinho failed in his attempts to sign a centre-back in the summer.

Bayern Munich sign 16-year-old Sweden star Alex Timossi Andersson

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of 16-year-old Sweden youth international Alex Timossi Andersson from Helsingborg IF. 

The attacking midfielder will move to Munich in the summer of 2019. As yet, no details of the fee nor the length of the contract have been announced by either club.

Henrik Larsson had two spells at Helsingborg as a player.

Henrik Larsson has left Helsingborg following their relegation from the Swedish top flight on Sunday.

Larsson, 45, took charge of his hometown club in 2015 and had spoken of fears for his safety following the club's demotion after his son, a striker for Helsingborg, was attacked after the defeat to Halmstad.

The former Celtic, Manchester United and Barcelona striker had said he intended to stay on as manager but his departure was announced in an official statement on Wednesday which said the decision...

Henrik Larsson's Helsingborg were relegated after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Halmstad.

It will be very difficult to find a man who closed a circle in a more dramatic and fateful fashion than Henrik Larsson. His story at Helsingborg is almost mystical.

In 1992, as a young local striker, Larsson helped Helsingborg to win promotion to the Swedish top division after 24 years in the wilderness. Helsingborg boss Henrik Larsson oversaw the club's relegation on Sunday.

Helsingborg are investigating crowd trouble that saw manager Henrik Larsson's son attacked on the pitch after the club's relegation was confirmed.

Video footage posted on social media showed 19-year-old Jordan Larsson being confronted by a group of hooded Helsingborg supporters at the end of the 2-1 defeat to Halmstad on Sunday and forcibly having his shirt removed.
