Hannover 96 and U.S. youth international striker Sebastian Soto is unlikely to move before the close of the transfer window on Sept. 2, with one source close to the player putting the chances at "five percent."

Hannover issued a statement last Thursday that Soto was in advanced talks with a club from outside Germany about a transfer. The source said Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge as well as Liga Portugal powerhouse Benfica are among the interested clubs.

U.S. youth international and Hannover 96 forward Sebastian Soto has been contacted by Chile manager Reinaldo Rueda, with an eye towards the striker playing for La Roja, according to a source with knowledge of the approach.

Soto, 19, is eligible to represent three countries -- Chile through his father, Mexico through his mother, and the U.S. because it's the country of his birth. He has represented the U.S. at U19 and U20 level, and scored four goals for the Americans at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup...

U.S. Under-20 youth international Chris Gloster has signed a three-year contract with the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

The 19-year-old left back from Montclair, New Jersey, made his debut for Red Bulls II in the United Soccer League at age 16 in 2016 and signed with Hannover in Germany ahead of the 2018-19 season. He began last season with Hannover's Under-19 team and was promoted to Hannover's reserve team in the German fourth tier.

U.S. Under-20 youth international Chris Gloster is set to move to Eredivisie powerhouse PSV Eindhoven after the Dutch club agreed to terms with German side Hannover 96, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

German outlet Bild was the first to report the news.

Gloster, 19, is heading to Eindhoven on Wednesday, and will undergo a medical the following day. If all goes well, he will officially sign with PSV on Friday.

PSV Eindhoven has submitted an improved offer for U.S. youth international and Hannover 96 defender Chris Gloster, a source with knowledge of the situation told ESPN FC.

The source said that the improved bid was made on Friday, and follows a previous offer that was made at the end of June.

Hannover has told Gloster he will be part of the first team this season if he remains, and he was included in the club's first-team photo that was posted earlier this week.
