Mario Gotze scored a brace for Bayern Munich against Hannover.

Bayern Munich celebrated their fourth straight Bundesliga title with a 3-1 win over Hannover in Pep Guardiola's last league game in charge of the Bavarians.

Robert Lewandowski put Bayern in front and sealed his place as the league's top goalscorer in 2015/16 before Mario Gotze struck twice on what could be his last Bundesliga match for the club, amid transfer speculation.

Artur Sobiech pulled a goal back before the party started at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern took the title by 10 points from Dortmund,...

Relegated Hannover gave their fans something to celebrate in their final home game in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 win over Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Hiroshi Kiyotake's goal in the 28th minute ensured Daniel Stendel's men took all three points from their final top-flight fixture at the Niedersachsenstadion for at least 15 months.

Hoffenheim will not be joining them in the 2. Bundesliga next season despite defeat, however, since the final day fixture between Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt means their...

Schalke kept their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season alive with a 3-1 win over relegated Hannover keeping them within reach of the Bundesliga top four.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting's opening goal was cancelled out by Artur Sobiech's equaliser for the hosts, but Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Alessandro Schopf ensured the Royal Blues came away with three points.

Daniel Stendel was given a full-time contract as Hannover coach for next season having impressed in his few games in temporary...

Ron-Robert Zieler announces he's leaving Hannover this summer

Ron-Robert Zieler was named as a potential Manchester City target back in February.

Ron-Robert Zieler has announced that he will leave relegated Hannover 96 in the summer.

Hannover 96 at the weekend became the first Bundesliga side to be relegated this season. A late push under interim coach Daniel Stendel was not enough to keep the Lower Saxony club in the top flight.

Earlier this season, Zieler, 27, said Hannover would need a miracle to stay up and there have been several indicators the 2014 World Cup winner does not plan to go into the second division with the club he joined...
