Hamburg complete five-year deal for Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic

Serbia international Filip Kostic has signed with Hamburg for five seasons.

Hamburg have completed the signing of Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic for an undisclosed fee on a five-year deal.

The 23-year-old was a rare bright spark for the Reds last season as they were relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time in 41 years.

But Kostic, capped nine times by Serbia, will remain in the German top-flight after penning a contract with Bruno Labbadia's men that runs until the end of June 2021, ending his two-year stint with Stuttgart.

Matthias Ginter remains in Borussia Dortmund's plans - Michael Zorc

Matthias Ginter provided two goals and seven assists before the winter break last season but then fell behind Lukasz Piszczek in the pecking order.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has said defender Matthias Ginter remains part of the club's plans despite links with Arsenal, Hamburg and Wolfsburg.

Germany international Ginter, 22, joined Dortmund from Freiburg after the 2014 World Cup but has struggled for consistency at the Westfalenstadion.

Despite an impressive start to last season, he ultimately fell behind Poland right-back Lukasz Piszczek in the pecking order following the winter break and has been linked with an exit.

Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko not worried by £35m price tag

ESPN FC's Paul Mariner wonders why Moussa Sissoko didn't display the same quality at Newcastle that he did during the Euro.
The ESPN FC crew debate who the bulk of the blame should rest with after their shock loss to Portugal in the Euro final.

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has told L'Equipe he is not worried by his £35 million price tag and hopes to secure a move "as early as possible."

France international Sissoko, 26, was unable to prevent Newcastle from getting relegated last season but his stock has risen considerably after some impressive performances at Euro 2016.

According to the Press Association, Newcastle have responded by demanding a considerable asking fee from anyone wanting to buy the player who finished...
