Andreas Pereira hails Tony Adams influence as he aims to impress at Utd

Mark Ogden reacts to Jose Mourinho's comments about David De Gea's Man United future ahead of their match with Real Madrid.

Andreas Pereira says he is a better player for working under Tony Adams at Granada and is more confident than ever of kicking on at Manchester United.

Competition has restricted the 21-year-old to fleeting glimpses of his potential at Old Trafford, leading the midfielder to head to La Liga on loan last term.

The former Ajaccio star said he is hugely grateful for the backing the Granada fans gave him over the past 12 months.

He said via Granada's Twitter account: "I want to thank the fans for their unconditional support throughout...
