Granada goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa left his parent club Malaga red faced with a starring role in a 1-1 derby draw at La Rosaleda.

Ochoa, on a season-long loan at Granada, had been allowed to play in the Andalusian derby and it was a decision which came back to haunt Malaga.

Although Artem Kravets pulled one back, a stoppage-time effort from substitute Pape Cheikh Diop stretched winless Granada's run to 13 games without victory.

Nani rescued a 1-1 draw for Valencia and denied rock-bottom Granada a first La Liga win of the season.

Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez fired the visitors in front before half-time, but Portugal star Nani struck immediately after the break.

Granada started brightly and Valencia keeper Diego Alves made two early saves to deny the lively Carcela-Gonzalez.

But Valencia got a foothold in the game and Nani fired an effort wide before Guillermo Ochoa saved from Rodrigo and then kept out Nani's header.
