Sixty seconds of second-half madness ended Barnsley's unbeaten run as goals from Dominic Samuel and Bradley Dack gave Gillingham a 2-1 victory over the Tykes.

Reading loanee Samuel gave Gillingham the lead when showing tremendous pace to latch onto a Rory Donnelly through-ball after 25 minutes.

And, two minutes before half-time, Marley Watkins had a chance to bring the scores level but opted instead to pass to strike partner Sam Winnall, which ultimately was the wrong decision.

Swindon failed to find the net for the third game in a row but a resilient defensive display held Gillingham at bay to earn them a 0-0 draw.

The Robins arrived at their promotion-chasing hosts following consecutive 1-0 defeats and while they could not end their drought, goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux ensured they shared the spoils.

Rory Donnelly came within inches of opening the scoring inside the opening five minutes, lobbing Vigouroux before watching the ball bounce back off the post.

Gillingham missed out on the chance to return to the top of League One after Jack Redshaw's first-half penalty earned Blackpool a surprise 1-0 victory.

The Gills could have replaced Burton at the summit on goal difference after the latter's 2-1 defeat at Rochdale but instead Redshaw's sixth goal of the season moved Pool further away from the relegation zone.

After an uneventful opening, Luke Norris went close with a Gillingham free-kick before their goalkeeper Stuart Nelson saved a similar effort from...

Bradley Dack's 14th goal of the season helped Gillingham come from behind to beat promotion rivals Peterborough 2-1 and return to the top of the Sky Bet League One table.

The visitors opened the scoring on 25 minutes, as Erhun Oztumer fired home from close range after a well-worked United free-kick that also involved Jon Taylor and debutant Shaquile Coulthirst.

Starting his first game for the Gills since mid-October, Luke Norris levelled the game four minutes after the break, neatly slotting past...

Top scorer Andy Williams notched his 14th goal of the season in the 88th minute to earn Doncaster a 2-2 home draw against promotion-chasing Gillingham.

It rounded off a great comeback by Rovers, who had trailed 2-0 after a poor display before hitting back with two goals in the last 15 minutes.

Doncaster began promisingly but Gillingham scored against the run of play in the 10th minute and looked to clinch all three points after adding a second straight after half-time.
