Former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi says he "lost count" of how many knee surgeries he's had as he opened up on his injury woes.

The ex-Italy international moved to Old Trafford from Parma as a 16-year-old amid high expectation in 2004. However, he has been plagued with serious knee injuries ever since which effectively ruined any chance he had of playing at the top level.

Yet he is determined not to give up and to make the most of his ability.

Juventus sign Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin for €12 million

ESPN FC's Paolo Bandini says that Juventus would welcome Alvaro Morata back to Turin with open arms if the price is right.

Juventus have signed Italian goalkeeper Mattia Perin from Serie A rivals Genoa for an initial fee of €12 million after he successfully passed a medical on Friday.

The Italy international has signed a four-year contract and will fill Gianluigi Buffon's gloves at the Bianconeri, providing competition for Wojciech Szczesny as their number one next season. According to a statement published on Juventus' website, the fee could rise by €3 million.
