Fiorentina celebrated a a big win over defending Serie A champs Juventus on Sunday.

Fiorentina put a dent in Juventus' title charge with a 2-1 win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Nikola Kalinic and Federico Chiesa fired Fiorentina in front with goals in either half and, although Gonzalo Higuain got Juve back into it, the Serie A leaders could not find an equaliser.

Kalinic opened the scoring in the 37th minute when a long ball forward fell to Federico Bernardeschi, who slipped the ball forward to the Croatian down the right channel.

Benfica's Adel Taarabt seals loan move with Genoa

Adel Taarabt previously played in Serie A with AC Milan in 2014.

Genoa completed the signing of forward Adel Taarabt from Benfica on Tuesday.

The Morocco international will return to Serie A, where he enjoyed a moderately successful six-month loan with AC Milan in 2014.

The former Queens Park Rangers has struggled since moving to Benfica in 2015, only appearing for the club's reserve side.

The 27-year-old joins a Genoa squad who have lost four of their past five domestic matches.

West Ham's Simone Zaza open to Fiorentina, Genoa or AC Milan - father

Simone Zaza has failed to make an impact during his Premier League loan spell.

The father and agent of Simone Zaza says that his son never wanted to join West Ham United in the first place as the Italian forward ponders a return to Italy this winter.

Zaza joined the Hammers in the summer on loan from Juventus, in a deal which included a clause that would make the move permanent after the 25-year-old reached a certain number of appearances, but since he has failed to score even once in just five Premier League starts, the clause is unlikely to be triggered.
