Lukas Podolski targets Germany Euro 2016 glory after Galatasaray success

Lukas Podolski wants to achieve success at next year's Euro 2016 with the same preparation as for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

BERLIN -- Lukas Podolski is determined to follow up Germany's World Cup success by winning Euro 2016 after finding form with new club Galatasaray.

Podolski, 30, ended his three-year spell with Arsenal this summer, having spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Inter Milan.

The Germany international was not a regular starter at either the Emirates Stadium or San Siro, scoring just four times in 29 matches for both clubs the season after lifting the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
