Fulham have signed Dutch international forward Ryan Babel from Turkish club Besiktas on a permanent deal running until the end of the season, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.

Babel makes a return to the English game, having made 146 appearances for Liverpool during his three-and-a-half year stint on Merseyside between 2007 and 2011.

Fulham have vowed to take the "strongest possible action" after striker Aboubakar Kamara was racially abused on social media following their 1-0 win over Huddersfield Saturday.

Fulham grabbed a vital three points at the death to keep alive their hopes of Premier League survival.

Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri said he wanted "to kill" Aboubakar Kamara, who he accused of disrespecting the club by insisting on taking a penalty against the Italian's orders in their 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

The bizarre incident, made worse by Kamara's subsequent miss from the spot, happened in the 82nd minute of the Premier League game with the score goalless at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
