Arsenal forward Joel Campbell completes Frosinone move

Arsenal have sold forward Joel Campbell to Frosinone, ending a seven-year spell at the club that saw him make a number of loan moves.

Costa Rica international Campbell moves to the Serie A side on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee, Arsenal said on Friday.

He joined the Gunners in 2011 but only played one full season at the Emirates, making 30 appearances during the 2015-16 campaign.

Frosinone returns to Serie A after promotion playoff win over Palermo

Frosinone beat Palermo 2-0 in the second leg of their playoff final on Saturday to earn promotion back to Serie A after a two-year absence.

Hellas Verona seal promotion back to Serie A over Frosinone

Hellas Verona are back in Serie A following their relegation last season.

Hellas Verona sealed an immediate return to Serie A with a draw on the final day of the Serie B season on Thursday.

Verona's goalless draw at Cesena was enough to see them finish second above Frosinone thanks to the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Serie A games could face match-fixing investigation - report

An investigation into match-fixing in Italy may be expanded to include fixtures from Serie A, according to a report in La Repubblica on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, it was revealed how anti-mafia police in Italy had made 10 arrests in relation to a suspected manipulation of two Avellino fixtures in Serie B in 2014.
