Brazilian youngster Kenedy praised by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho

Chelsea once again were victorious on penalties as Thibaut Courtois came up with a few telling saves in the shootout.
The ESPN FC crew react to comments made by Rafa Benitez's wife regarding Jose Mourinho and the Chelsea manager's rebuttal.

Jose Mourinho has backed Brazilian youngster Kenedy to have a bright future with Chelsea.

ESPN FC reported last month that Chelsea were on the verge of signing Kenedy from Fluminense for a fee in the region of £6.3 million.

Kenedy, 19, played 45 minutes for the Blues in their preseason penalty shootout win over Barcelona this week.

Gerson strikes five-year deal with Barcelona, says rep Andre Cury

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says that the club's new signings will have to wait until January to play, because of Barca's transfer ban.

Barcelona have struck a deal with Fluminense attacking midfielder Gerson, according to the Blaugrana's representative in Brazil.

The Brazil youth international has agreed on a five-year accord with the current Champions League holders, with no stipulated time for the 18-year-old to swap teams as the player has not yet been sold by the Rio side.
