Diego Perotti scored the lone goal of the game as Roma secured their passage to the round of 16 with a first-place finish in Group C.
After winning Group C somewhat surprisingly, Craig Burley credits Roma for getting stronger both domestically and in Europe.

Roma progressed to the Champions League knockout stage as Group C winners after beating Qarabag 1-0 on Tuesday.

Diego Perotti scored early in the second half and Roma finished top of the group after Atletico Madrid drew at already-qualified Chelsea 1-1 in the other match.

Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas converted from the spot, while Willian marked his 200th Blues appearance with two sublime...

Michel, who scored Qarabag's goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid, says his side are on the right track after their poor start to the competition.

"We will go out to win against Chelsea," Michel told Onda Cero. "We will be playing in front of our fans. We need to give our best and I believe we are going to do a very good job in our next [Champions League] game."
