Feyenoord's disastrous six-game losing streak the worst in De Kuip history

Ajax have kept themselves within a point of Eredivisie leaders PSV after they beat rivals Feyenoord 2-1.

Ever since the Dutch Eredivisie was founded in 1956, Feyenoord have never lost more than four games in a row. Even in their darkest hours, like the disastrous 2010-11 season when they were thrashed 10-0 by PSV Eindhoven and finished 10th, the giants from Rotterdam did not sink to such a level.

Colin Kazim-Richards delighted with Celtic move

Colin-Kazim Richards has joined Celtic from Feyenoord.

Colin Kazim-Richards brushed off his controversial reputation as he insisted he could be a role model for Celtic's young players.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Celtic after joining from Feyenoord for an undisclosed but modest fee two weeks after he was suspended by the club for allegedly threatening a Dutch journalist.

Feyenoord suspend Colin Kazim-Richards until Feb. 1

Goals from Hector Moreno and Luciano Narsingh saw PSV Eindhoven defeat Feyenoord convincingly away from home.

Feyenoord confirmed on Monday that they have suspended Colin Kazim-Richards from training and matches until Feb. 1 in response to his recent behaviour towards a journalist.

Kazim-Richards, 29, was unhappy with an article in Algemeen Dagblad newspaper which questioned his attitude, according to a BBC report.

The London-born Turkey international reportedly confronted the reporter when he arrived at a prematch news conference, and the club dropped him from their squad for Sunday's 2-0 loss to PSV.
