Arsenal youngster Tafari Moore loaned to FC Utrecht

Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson assesses the club's defensive woes and why they have not purchased another defender.

Arsenal have sent young full-back Tafari Moore on loan to FC Utrecht for the rest of the season and he is set to feature for the Dutch club's second team.

Moore, 19, has spent time training with both FC Utrecht and Jong FC Utrecht and impressed sufficiently to secure a year-long loan.

He needed surgery last season but was a regular for the Arsenal under-21s after his return, making 15 appearances, and also played in the UEFA Youth League with the U19s.

Swansea criticise Utrecht over comments on Michel Vorm transfer

Michel Vorm left Swansea for Tottenham in 2014.

Swansea have criticised Dutch club Utrecht over comments they made in relation to the ongoing Michel Vorm transfer case.

Vorm's 2014 transfer to Tottenam was the subject of a Court of Arbitration for Sport hearing at the end of January, following a complaint from Utrecht.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper's former club claim they are owed a sell-on fee for a player they sold to Swansea for £1.5 million in 2011. He went on to make 97 appearances for the Welsh club.

Feyenoord beat Utrecht 2-1 to win KNVB-Beker final

Feyenoord Dutch Cup 160424
Feyenoord players celebrate after winning the KNVB-Beker Cup.

Feyenoord won their first piece of silverware since 2008 after defeating FC Utrecht 2-1 in the KNVB-Beker final at De Kuip on Sunday.

Michiel Kramer put Feyenoord ahead and though Ramon Leeuwin equalised, Eljero Elia's shot led to a decisive own goal by unfortunate goalkeeper Filip Bednarek.

Feyenoord's first-half pressure eventually told three minutes before the break as Kramer jumped above the Utrecht defense to meet a Dirk Kuyt cross and guide a header beyond the dive of Bednarek and just inside...

Match-fixer attempted to rig Willem II game in Eredivisie - Dutch FA

Willem II midfielder Ibrahim Kargbo is alleged to have arranged to fix a match with Wilson Raj Perumal.

The Dutch football association (KNVB) has confirmed for the first time that a match-fixer attempted to rig a game in the Eredivisie seven years ago.

The Royal Netherlands Football Association said on Monday that its integrity unit established that Willem II Tilburg midfielder Ibrahim Kargbo organised with Singaporean match-fixer Wilson Raj Perumal for Willem II to lose to FC Utrecht on Aug. 9, 2009.

The association's operational director, Gijs de Jong, said: "Dutch football is one of the last...

Utrecht take Michel Vorm fee dispute with Swansea to CAS

Dutch club Utrecht are questioning why Swansea had a zero valuation for Michel Vorm when he moved to Tottenham.

Swansea's sale of Michel Vorm to Tottenham will be the subject of a court hearing next month.

Dutch club Utrecht are taking Swansea to the Court of Arbitration for Sport because they say they are owed a sell-on fee for the goalkeeper they sold to Swansea for £1.5 million in 2011.

Utrecht insist they are owed 30 percent of whatever Swansea received for Vorm in July 2014, citing a sell-on clause in the deal when the player arrived in Wales from Holland three years earlier.

Vorm, 32, left Swansea...
