The FC panel discuss Jermaine Jones' future with the New England Revolution after his tweet about a potential salary cut.

New England Revolution manager Jay Heaps says the team is still in discussions with U.S. international midfielder Jermaine Jones about a new contract, though he declined to get into any details about the talks.

"I would say there's been progress, but I don't know if a deal is going to be done tomorrow," Heaps said. "There are other things in play in terms of international opportunities for Jermaine, so I think the conversation is ongoing."

Robinho targeted by Sion after Guangzhou Evergrande exit

Robinho joined Guangzhou Evergrande on a six-month contract in July.

Former Real Madrid and AC Milan forward Robinho is a target for Sion, the Swiss club's president has confirmed.

Robinho, who also played for Manchester City, is a free agent after leaving Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande and Sion president Christian Constantin has reportedly flown to Sao Paulo to conduct negotiations with the 31-year-old.

"Like with any transfer of this size, everything is very, very complicated," Constantin said in Blick.

Brazil legend Ronaldinho a transfer target for FC Sion - Degennaro

Ronaldinho has been out of action since late September when he reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract with Brazilian club Fluminese.
Ronaldinho won the Ballon d'Or in 2005.

Swiss Super League club FC Sion are interested in signing Brazil legend Ronaldinho, the club's general director Marco Degennaro has said.

Ronaldinho, 35, is currently without a contract, after his deal with Fluminense was terminated in September.

"We're still in three competitions, so we'll definitely do something on the transfer market. But for now we try and keep all of our players, and after that we are looking at two or three signings," Degenarro was quoted by Tagesanzeiger as telling Ticinonline.

Both Liverpool and FC Sion advance to the Europa League knockout stages with a goalless draw.
Jordan Henderson was pleased with his return to Liverpool, as his side progressed as group winners.

Liverpool claimed the point they needed to top their Europa League group with an uninspiring goalless draw in Sion.

Having already qualified for the knockout stages there was little to aim for and far more to avoid -- injury being the main concern on a pitch which appeared part frozen -- but everyone emerged unscathed to add a fourth draw to their two wins in six matches unbeaten in Europe.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp had spoken before the game of the need to create rhythm but this was a performance...
