David Accam scored an early first-half goal and the Chicago Fire beat 10-man New York City FC 1-0 on Friday night.

Chicago won its third straight game, while NYCFC had its winless streak reach six.

Lamar Neagle scored twice and Obafemi Martins added a third goal as the Seattle Sounders managed a 3-1 win in Colorado.

Neagle opened the scoring in the fifth minute by curling in a shot from the corner of the 18-yard box, but the Rapids equalized through Gabriel Torres midway through the first half.

But three minutes later Neagle again put the Sounders ahead after receiving a ball over the top from Marco Pappa. Neagle's initial shot was saved by goalkeeper Clint Irwin but remained loose...
