FC Basel question ticket allocation for Champions League match at PSG

FC Basel have stated their "regret" at Paris Saint-Germain's decision to limit their fans' ticket allocation for next week's Champions League game in the French capital that could see Swiss supporters boycott the match.

Only 800 tickets have been made available to Basel fans for their team's Group A game at the Parc des Princes next Wednesday compared to 2,000 for Arsenal supporters for their team's match in the French capital earlier in the group stage.

Urs Fischer says his Basel team cannot be intimidated by Arsenal's run of goal-scoring form.

Arsenal have been forced to play in their yellow away strip by UEFA on Wednesday night in the Champions League as their home kit clashes with that of opponents FC Basel.

The Gunners' red home shirt has caused a clash of colours and UEFA kit policy has dictated that they are the ones to change.

Urs Fischer says his Basel team cannot be intimidated by Arsenal's run of goal-scoring form.

Basel coach Urs Fischer will take heart from his side's recent run against English clubs when they take on Arsenal on Wednesday, but insists those results count for nothing against the Gunners.

Basel take on Arsenal in the second round of fixtures in Group A of the Champions League after both teams drew their opening games 1-1.
