Hertha Berlin coach Pal Dardai says he has no special plan devised to deal with Augsburg's latest goalscoring threat Marwin Hitz when the Bavarians pay the Olympiastadion a visit this weekend.

Hitz last weekend became only the third goalkeeper in Bundesliga history to score a goal in open play, earning his side a last-gasp draw against Bayer Leverkusen.

"We're not going to give Hitz any special attention," joked Dardai, who instead plans to keep Hitz very busy in the Augsburg goal.

Augsburg goalkeeper Marwin Hitz scored a dramatic late equaliser to earn his side a 2-2 draw at home to Bayer Leverkusen on his return to the side after injury.

Josip Drmic gave Leverkusen an early lead which was cancelled out by Caiuby's strike on the hour mark.

Werder Bremen made it five wins in a row, inflicting the first defeat of 2015 on Augsburg with a 3-2 win at the Weser Stadion.

Assani Lukimya's opener was cancelled out by Ragnar Klavan, who then gave away the penalty which allowed Franco Di Santo to put Bremen back in front.

Theodor Gebre Selassie added a third for Viktor Skripnik's side who, rather than worrying about relegation as they were at the end of 2014, are now up to within three points of the European qualification places.

Augsburg Paul Verhaegh out several weeks with calf injury

Bundesliga surprise package Augsburg missed the chance to go third as they were held at home by Eintracht Frankfurt.

Augsburg will without their captain Paul Verhaegh for several weeks after he injured his calf during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Preliminary tests on Monday pointed towards a serious muscle injury while more in-depth tests will be carried out on Tuesday to discover the extent of the damage.

Verhaegh lasted only 18 minutes of Sunday's game before limping from the field.

The Dutchman has been ruled out for the next few weeks until a more detailed diagnosis will determine how long he...
