Falkirk moved to the top of the Ladbrokes Championship with a 2-1 win against Dumbarton.

Goals in the opening 14 minutes from Blair Alston and Craig Sibbald proved enough to move them above Rangers and Queen of the South in the table.

All the goals were scored in a whirlwind first half-hour at Falkirk Stadium.

Alston fired in off the crossbar following slack defending from the visitors in the fifth minute before Sibbald exchanged passes with Luke Leahy, cut in from the right and curled into the top...

Falkirk progressed through to the third round of the Scottish League Cup following a stoic performance at Firhill as they eliminated a lacklustre Partick.

Throughout a first half short on goalscoring opportunities it was the Bairns who impressed the most thanks to a solid disciplined display and a creative verve lacking in the hosts.

Peter Grant deservedly fired the visitors in front in the 32nd minute with a powerful effort from just inside the box which he lashed past the helpless Tomas Cerny into...

Will Vaulks set up a goal before getting on the score-sheet as Falkirk won 2-1 at Livingston in the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship.

Falkirk's Mark Kerr was denied early on before Luke Leahy's fine volley opened the scoring for the visitors after 16 minutes. Defender Vaulks sent a diagonal cross into the box which Leahy controlled with his chest before firing past Darren Jamieson.

Dan Mullen equalised for Livingston early in the second period, reacting quickest after a scramble in the box to convert...

Rory McAllister was a five-goal hero for Peterhead, spearheading a sensational 5-3 comeback win at Falkirk in the Petrofac Training Cup.

Falkirk missed an early penalty, but within three minutes David Smith opened the scoring a volley from 25 yards.

The Bairns then doubled their lead, Paul Watson heading in.

McAllister cancelled out the lead in a five-minute spell with a stunning double strike for Peterhead.

He took Scott Ross's pass before lobbing the goalkeeper, and then ran in to tap home Jordon Brown's...

Striker Botti Biabi, 19, signs three-year deal with Swansea City

Botti Biabi has moved to Swansea, where he will play with former Falkirk players Jay Fulton and Stephen Kingsley.

Swansea have completed the signing of Falkirk striker Botti Biabi.

The Swans announced on their official website that 19-year-old Biabi has agreed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

London-born Biabi will link up with the club's under-21 squad.

He has represented Scotland at under-19 level and helped Falkirk reach the Scottish Cup final last season, when he went on as a second-half substitute during a 2-1 defeat against Inverness.
