Leaders Hearts finally lost their unbeaten league record as Falkirk took their chances to claim a 3-2 victory.

The Jambos got off to the perfect start, scoring after two minutes when Genero Zeefuik made it three goals in two games with a close-range finish after good work from Osman Sow.

Falkirk should have been level when a free-kick from the left picked out Peter Grant at the far post but he scooped his effort over the crossbar.

Hearts goalkeeper Neil Alexander had to be alert to keep out Luke Leahy...

Falkirk missed the chance to leapfrog their opponents as Rory Loy missed his second penalty of the game in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Queen of the South.

The Bairns striker had already converted one spot-kick from 12 yards when he lashed his second effort against the crossbar after the hour.

The hosts took the lead early on as they were awarded a penalty after Mark Durnan had fouled Loy in the area, the striker himself calmly converting the penalty in to the bottom left-hand corner.

Hibs striker Jason Cummings fired a first-half hat-trick but Falkirk fought back to earn a 3-3 draw in the Scottish Championship.

Cummings needed only 11 minutes to grab his first, with his deflected shot finishing a quick Hibs break.

The hosts were briefly pegged back seven minutes later when John Baird converted Will Vaulks' clever pass.

Cummings was at it again in the 39th minute when he diverted Liam Fontaine's header goalwards and he completed his first career treble three minutes later when heading...

Rory Loy's first-half goal proved enough for Falkirk to get back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory at home to struggling Alloa.

The Bairns' four-match winning run had been ended by Raith last time out but they proved it was only a blip as they did enough to condemn Alloa to a fifth defeat in six matches.

Loy grabbed the only goal in the 23rd minute and his ninth of the season with a right-foot shot after good work by Craig Sibbald.

Alloa's Daryll Meggatt had a header from a corner cleared off the line...

Ryan Conroy scored with 12 minutes to go as Raith completed a smash-and-grab 1-0 victory at Falkirk.

The Bairns had missed a host of chances to take the lead but failed to make the breakthrough and Conroy's late tap-in handed down the ultimate punishment.

How Peter Houston's men came away with nothing is something of a mystery as they dominated from the off and missed a great double chance to take the lead midway through the first half when Rory Loy was denied by David McGurn's legs, with Blair Alston...
