Barcelona expect Moussa Wague visa decision, debut by end of month - sources

Senegal international Moussa Wague should be able to make his debut for Barcelona's B team later this month after a delay in obtaining his visa, sources confirmed to ESPN FC.

Wague, 20, joined Barca in August from KAS Eupen after impressing at the World Cup. He became the youngest player to ever score for Senegal when he did so against Japan.

His performances for Senegal and Eupen earned him a place among the 40 nominees for the Golden Boy award for 2018.

Former France international Claude Makelele joined Belgian side Eupen as their head coach in November 2017.

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid man Claude Makelele steered Eupen to safety after an incredible last-day finale in Belgium's top flight.

Makelele, who worked as assistant coach to Carlo Ancelotti and Laurent Blanc at Paris Saint-Germain, was appointed in November with the mission of saving Eupen from relegation to Belgium's second tier.

Claude Makelele has left his position as a coach at Swansea and been appointed boss of struggling Belgian side Eupen.

The former France international midfielder worked as an assistant coach at Paris Saint-Germain before a brief, unsuccessful stint as head coach at Bastia during the 2014-15 season.

He also worked behind the scenes at Monaco before joining Paul Clement's backroom staff at Swansea City last January.

Everton confirm Henry Onyekuru arrival from Eupen on five-year deal

Everton have confirmed the signing of Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru on a five-year contract.

Onyekuru, 20, will spend next season on loan with Belgian champions Anderlecht where he will play in the Champions League.

"My loan move to Anderlecht is a good step for me and a welcome development because striking a deal is not all about the money involved," he said in an interview with SCORENigeria.

"I am looking forward to another great season in Belgium as well as to feature in the Champions League....

Henry Onyekuru has confirmed via social media he has joined Everton and been loaned out to Belgian champions Anderlecht for next season.

Sources reported earlier this week Everton had beaten off competition from Arsenal and West Ham to sign Onyekuru, 20, after agreeing a £7 million deal with his club, Eupen.
