Lucas Vazquez rejoins Real Madrid after club buy him back from Espanyol

Real Madrid have announced that they have brought Lucas Vazquez back to the club for the next five years after exercising their buyback clause on his contract with Espanyol.

Vazquez, 23, spent last season on loan at Espanyol from Los Blancos, scoring four goals and recording six assists in 39 appearances, before the club opted to secure a permanent transfer.

Espanyol have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the sale of Lucas Vazquez, the club's president Joan Collet has said.
