Bottom side Elgin extended their winless run to nine games following a 1-1 draw at East Fife.

Elgin dominated the first quarter of an hour, with chances for Shane Sutherland and Marvin Andrews, but it was the home side who took the lead in the 26th minute when Kevin Smith finished neatly from close range.

Just eight minutes later and the basement club were level, Dennis Wyness latching on to a Brian Cameron pass and coolly finishing from the centre of the penalty area.

Basement side Elgin suffered another damaging defeat after being humbled 4-1 by high-flying Queen's Park in Scottish League Two.

Elgin have not won since August and slipped to the foot of the table after East Stirling went above them with their victory over Clyde.

Striker Paul Woods fired the visitors ahead when his deflected effort found the net on 24 minutes.

It was two for Queen's Park just four minutes later when Shaun Rooney powered an excellent header into the bottom corner.

Craig Gunn missed a first-half penalty as Elgin drew 0-0 at home to Annan in Scottish League Two.

Brian Cameron nearly put the home side into the lead inside 15 minutes when he found space inside the box but he failed to finish.

City's Jamie Duff pulled an effort wide from the right-hand side of the box shortly before Annan's Peter Watson was penalised for a handball in his own area.

Gunn stepped up to take the resulting penalty, which was palmed away by Athletic's Alex Mitchell.

Darren Gribben netted twice as Boness beat Elgin 5-4 to set up a William Hill Scottish Cup fourth-round clash with Arbroath.

The hosts drew first blood in the fourth minute when Gribben fired in from close range but Shane Sutherland levelled things up from the penalty spot seven minutes later.

Boness were back in front in the 17th minute when Will Snowden nodded past City shot-stopper Michael Fraser from the middle of the box.

Junior side Boness extended their advantage in the 31st minute when Gribben...

An incredible match at Borough Briggs ended in a 4-4 draw between Elgin and Bo'ness in the Scottish Cup.

Elgin, bottom of the Scottish Football League, took the lead through Mark Nicolson before Brian Cameron smashed in their second after 25 minutes and repeated the trick 10 minutes later to make it 3-0 at half-time.

But Bo'ness came out firing in the second half and three goals in eight minutes from half-time substitutes Kieran Anderson and Nicky Walker brought them within touching distance, before...
