Fernando Torres
Fernando Torres nets from close range.

Fernando Torres scored his 100th goal for Atletico Madrid as the Rojiblancos came from behind to beat Eibar 3-1 and record their first win in four matches.

Former Atletico academy player Keko gave the visitors a surprise lead at the start of the second half following an error by Saul Niguez, but Jose Maria Gimenez quickly replied for the hosts by heading home from a Koke corner.

Saul compensated for his earlier mistake by nodding in another Koke corner, and then Torres sent the Vicente Calderon...

Striker Kike leaves Middlesbrough to make Eibar move

Kike scored 16 goals during his time at Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough have sold striker Kike to Spanish side Eibar for an undisclosed fee.

Kike, 26, joined Boro from Murcia in the summer of 2014 and went on to make 75 appearances for the Championship club as they reached the playoff final last season.

The former Spain under-20 international scored 16 goals during his time on Teesside.

He has struck four times in 24 games this season, with his final goal for the club coming in a December win at Brighton.

"Kike departs Teesside with the best wishes of...

Malaga moved into the top half of the Primera Division after picking up a hard-fought 2-1 victory at in-form Eibar.

Juanpi broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time to give the visitors the edge in an end-to-end encounter and Roque Santa Cruz sealed the points by striking at the end of the second half.

Borja Baston grabbed a consolation goal for the hosts in the last minute of stoppage time but it was not enough to prevent a first home defeat in two months for the Basques, who missed a chance to...

Athletic Bilbao came from behind to secure a 5-2 win over Eibar to cement their place in the top half of the Primera Division.

In an entertaining game, Eibar took the lead in just the fourth minute when on-loan striker Borja Baston finished off a counter attack with a neat finish for the first of his two goals.

However, the visitors were in front for less than 10 minutes when Bilbao equalised through Aritz Aduriz, who latched onto a cross from Oscar De Marcos.

Bilbao were ahead on 27 minutes courtesy...

Sergi Enrich and Borja Baston both scored twice as Eibar thrashed Granada on Monday.

Two goals apiece from Borja Baston and Sergi Enrich helped Eibar to their biggest Primera Division win for 13 months as they beat hapless Granada 5-1.

The home side made it four wins in a row to move back into the top six and in contention for European football after an impressive response when Youssef El-Arabi had briefly made it 2-1 in the second half.

Winger Keko was the star of the show in the opening 45 minutes as he ran the visitors' defence ragged and it was his cross to the far post which...
