Ayr manager Ian McCall will be without Martyn Campbell (knee) and Peter Murphy (back) when Dunfermline visit Somerset Park.

Paul Slane is also an injury doubt as McCall looks to build on two draws in his side's last two games.

McCall said: "I would class it as steady progress and coming from behind last week to get a draw at Stenhousemuir has started confidence growing in the squad. We played good football and kept possession well but a cutting edge was lacking.

"Hopefully we can show one against Dunfermline,...

Morton remain on the coat tails of League One leaders Stranraer after a 2-0 win against Dunfermline at Cappielow.

Second-half goals from Ross Caldwell and Peter MacDonald gave Jim Duffy's side a first home win in four matches and moved third-placed Morton to within two points of the top of the table.

The hosts started well and threatened through MacDonald, Ross Forbes and then Michael Miller, although all three players missed the target.

Dunfermline twice hit back from behind to earn a point in a 2-2 draw against Airdrie but their winless run was extended to six matches.

Airdrie took a 10th-minute lead when Jim Lister converted defender Jamie Bain's ball into the penalty area, low into the bottom corner from 10 yards, for his sixth goal of the season.

Neither side mustered a shot on target until Dunfermline defender George Buchanan headed just over the crossbar in the 24th minute.

Lister headed off target for Airdrie and visiting striker...

Lewis Martin denied rock-bottom Stirling a first home win of the season as Dunfermline snatched a 2-2 draw in injury time.

Albion had to play the entire second half with 10 men after Lewis Coult was sent off seven minutes before half-time for a foul on Martin.

Things looked even bleaker for the hosts four minutes later when Allan Smith tucked home Joshua Falkingham's pass for his third goal of the season.

But Chris Smith struck on the hour, heading in Craig Comrie's cross to haul Stirling level, and...

Rory McAllister's second-half penalty earned Peterhead a 1-1 draw at 10-man Dunfermline.

The Pars took the lead in the 20th minute when Michael Moffat was tripped by Scott Ross on the edge of the box and Ross Forbes drilled home - his first goal since last February.

Moffat, without a goal since mid-September, should have ended his drought seven minutes before half-time when he burst through but Peterhead goalkeeper Graeme Smith produced a fine save.

McAllister was denied an equaliser early in the second...
