Skipper Scott Brown is suspended for Celtic's Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee at Parkhead on Saturday.

The Scotland captain, who signed a new four-year deal with the champions on Thursday night, was sent off in the Hoops' 2-1 win at Aberdeen before the international break and will serve a one-match ban.

Defender Mikael Lustig will be out for several weeks with a hamstring injury but Kris Commons has recovered from a buttock injury.

Stefan Johansen believes Celtic will continue to improve now...

A second-half penalty from St Johnstone striker Brian Graham denied Dundee their fourth straight Premiership win in this hard-fought Tayside derby at Dens Park.

The on-loan Dundee United hitman struck after 53 minutes to give Tommy Wright's men a 1-1 draw after David Clarkson had put the hosts ahead with yet another goal just before half-time.

Paul Hartley's Dundee were by far the better team in the first half when Clarkson netted his sixth goal in as many games and although Saints were transformed...

Dundee moved into the top six of the Scottish Premiership as they eventually saw off Kilmarnock 3-1 at Rugby Park.

Greg Stewart gave them the lead just prior to the break and the red-hot David Clarkson doubled the advantage soon after the restart.

Alexei Eremenko gave Kilmarnock hope with a great turn and finish but despite their late rally, Dundee sealed the win late on with Stewart's second of the game.

Both sides came into the match in good form so it was no surprise that the teams looked sharp early...

Hamilton stayed top of the Scottish Premiership on goal difference despite Dundee ending their nine-game unbeaten run in the league at windswept Dens Park.

Two second-half goals saw Paul Hartley's side become the first team to defeat Alex Neil's league leaders since the first day of the season when they went down at home to Inverness.

David Clarkson's 69th-minute header was his fourth goal in as many matches and four minutes later team-mate Greg Stewart made sure of the points with a well-taken goal...

A late penalty from Nadir Ciftci helped Dundee United overcome 10-man Partick Thistle 1-0 at Tannadice to close the gap on Scottish Premiership leaders Hamilton.

Ciftci stuck from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute after he was brought down by Thistle captain Daniel Seaborne, who was sent off for his last-man foul.

Partick were the better team in the second half but Ciftci's spot-kick means Jackie McNamara's side now sit just one point behind Hamilton, despite not being at their best in this match.
