Former Dinamo Zagreb boss Zdravko Mamic facing corruption charges

Zdravko Mamic is said to be the most powerful person in Croatian football.

Croatia's anti-graft authorities have filed charges against former Dinamo Zagreb president Zdravko Mamic for tax evasion, corruption and bribery.

The authorities have accused Mamic, his brother Zoran and two other people of embezzling the equivalent of €15 million ($17 million) of the club's money since 2008 and not paying €1.6m ($1.8m) in state taxes.

Croatian media have said the brothers are also suspected of taking undeclared commission fees from the sale of several Dinamo players...

Norwich complete signing of Ivo Pinto from Dinamo Zagreb

Norwich have announced the signing of right-back Ivo Pinto from Dinamo Zagreb.

The Premier League club confirmed on Thursday that Pinto, 26, has joined for an undisclosed fee on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The Portuguese defender came through the Porto youth system, before having spells at Rio Ave and Romanian club CFR Cluj ahead of his move to Zagreb in July 2013.

Dinamo Zagreb's Arijan Ademi banned for anabolic steroid use - UEFA

NYON, Switzerland -- UEFA has confirmed that Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Arijan Ademi was banned after testing positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol.

European football's governing body suspended Ademi, 24, for four years last week, but did not identify the substance in his urine sample given after a Champions League match against Arsenal in September.

Stanozolol is best known as the steroid Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson was caught using at the 1988 Olympics.
