SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina -- Controversial former Dinamo Zagreb director Zdravko Mamic was shot and injured in Bosnia on Monday, police and media reported.

Croatia's state TV said Mamic was shot in his leg and taken to a local hospital on Monday. It said the injury was not life-threatening. Police were searching for two possible assailants.

CAS cuts Arijan Ademi's four-year doping ban in half after appeal

Arijan Ademi will now only be banned until October.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has cut Arijan Ademi's doping ban from four years to two after the Dinamo Zagreb and Macedonia midfielder persuaded an appeal panel he had not intentionally cheated.

Ademi, 26, tested positive for the steroid stanozolol after Dinamo's 2-1 Champions League win over Arsenal in September 2015.

Two months later, European football's governing body UEFA gave him a four-year ban.

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic will not be joining Dinamo Zagreb on loan, the player's agent has said.
