Dagenham's search for a first win this season goes on after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home with Stevenage.

In a half of few guilt-edged chances, it was Daggers who took the lead in the 29th minute through Ashley Hemmings.

The midfielder picked up the ball in the middle of the pitch 25 yards out and after beating two defenders, let fly with his left foot in to the top left corner.

Boro could have got themselves level in the 40th minute when Brett Williams prodded the ball at goal from close range,...

Matt McClure endured a mixed afternoon as the Dagenham striker scored the opening goal before being sent off during the 1-1 draw with his former club Wycombe.

McClure, who was released by the Chairboys this summer, opened the scoring after six minutes before being sent off for a second yellow card with 15 minutes to go.

And Wanderers defender Aaron Pierre compounded his misery by snatching an equaliser in the fifth minute of injury time to extend Wycombe's unbeaten start to the season.

Exeter City put their woes at Northampton Town behind them to beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2-1.

The hosts had a goal ruled out in the eighth minute for a foul, Nyron Nosworthy having headed into the net after being picked out by Andre Boucaud with a free-kick.

With 25 minutes gone, the Grecians appealed for a penalty after David Noble had been brought down in the box but referee Roger East waved away the protests.

City did, though, take the lead in the 36th minute when Ryan Harley smashed home from the...

Leyton Orient emerged 3-1 winners in their London derby with Dagenham in Sky Bet League Two.

The O's maintained their 100 per cent record in the league since dropping out of the third tier and became one of five sides yet to drop a point in the division after two games.

Orient took the lead in the 19th minute when Paul McCallum struck his second league goal in as many games.

A cross was cleared as far as Dean Cox on the edge of the area, who lobbed it back into the path of McCallum to head home.

Charlton secured their second win from two at the start of the new season with a comfortable 4-1 Capital One Cup first-round victory over Dagenham & Redbridge at the Valley.

The hosts changed six of their starting line-up from Saturday's 2-0 Championship win over QPR but looked in control even before scoring through Tony Watt, Karlan Ahearne-Grant, Zakarya Bergdich and Reza Ghoochannejhad.

Watt, whose purpose and intelligence impressed throughout, gave Charlton the lead in the 26th minute when collecting...
