Trifon Ivanov was one of the best defender in Bulgaria.

Former Bulgaria defender Trifon Ivanov has died at the age of 50, the country's football association has announced.

Ivanov played 77 times for his country in total and the Bulgarian Football Union called him one of the nation's best ever players when announcing his passing on Saturday.

He helped Bulgaria to the semifinals of the 1994 World Cup and also played at Euro 96.

Roma were among 10 clubs to reach an FFP deal with UEFA.

Inter Milan and Roma are among several clubs who have agreed to pay fines and have their European squad sizes limited for upcoming seasons after breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

CSKA Sofia coach denies over-acting after snowball attack

CSKA Sofia coach Stoycho Mladenov says he has medical evidence to prove he was knocked unconscious by a snowball thrown by Levski Sofia fans after he was accused of "over-acting" during Saturday's "Eternal derby."
