Last year no Premier League side made it past the Champions League round of 16. How will they fare this year?

Manchester United's Dutch players were pleased with their Champions League draw on Thursday, with Memphis Depay and Daley Blind both tweeting their excitement to face PSV.

The Eindhoven club were the top-seeded club in Group B thanks to UEFA's new rule that puts the Champions of the top eight European leagues in the same pot.

United were in Pot 2 and landing in PSV's group means a return to their native land for Depay, Blind and manager Louis Van Gaal.

Seydou Doumbia returns to CSKA Moscow from Roma

Seydou Doumbia has left Roma after only seven months to rejoin CSKA Moscow on loan.

Manchester United have been drawn against Club Brugge in the Champions League playoffs.

Louis van Gaal's men take on the Belgian side -- who beat Panathinaikos 3-0 to advance to Friday's draw earlier this week after being down 2-1 from the first-leg -- with the first game to be played at Old Trafford.

MOSCOW -- Russia have appointed CSKA Moscow's Leonid Slutsky as the new coach of the national team on a short-term deal in a bid to rescue their stuttering 2016 European Championship qualifying campaign.
