Yohan Cabaye open to playing for Crystal Palace, clubs yet to agree fee

Yohan Cabaye moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Newcastle for £19 million in January 2014.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye is open to the prospect of a move to Crystal Palace as talks continue between the two clubs over the French international, a source has told ESPN.

Palace boss Alan Pardew put Cabaye on the Premier League stage when he signed him for Newcastle in 2011, with the duo's strong working relationship remaining intact despite the French midfielder doing all he could to move to PSG at the start of the 2013-14 season.

Mandela Egbo has opted to continue his career in Germany.

England under-18s defender Mandela Egbo has joined Borussia Monchengladbach from Crystal Palace on a four-year deal.

Egbo, 17, signed a contract until June 30, 2019 after the full-back won the European U17s Championship in May last year.

"We are very happy that Mandela decided to play for us. He is a player with huge potential," Borussia's sporting director Max Eberl said.

"He can play on the right wing both offensively and defensively. Now he has the possibility to rise up through the ranks...

Crystal Palace keen on Chelsea striker Loic Remy - sources

Loic Remy has not had a central role for Chelsea.

Crystal Palace have made initial enquiries over the availability of Chelsea striker Loic Remy, sources have told ESPN FC.

Remy, 28, played a role in Chelsea's successful march toward success in the Premier League and Capital One Cup, scoring nine goals in all competitions in his first season at the club after his move from Queens Park Rangers last summer.

However, behind Diego Costa in the pecking order, he continues to be linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and sources have told ESPN FC...

Brede Hangeland signs new contract with Crystal Palace

Brede Hangeland joined Crystal Palace from Fulham.

Crystal Palace have announced that Brede Hangeland has signed a new contract with the Premier League club.

Hangeland's previous terms were due to expire in the summer but he has now agreed a one-year extension at Selhurst Park.

The centre-back, who turns 34 on Saturday, has made 14 league appearances, scoring two goals, since joining Palace from Fulham in 2014.
