Palace's Alan Pardew says club owners must listen to core fans on prices

Mike and Mike react to the Fenway Sports Group lowering ticket prices after thousands of fans staged a walk out in protest.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has warned club owners they risk undermining the Premier League's future if they continue to increase ticket prices.

Liverpool this week reversed plans to raise prices from next season after protests from their fans, but Palace are among those who have significantly increased a minority of their admission fees and others could yet follow.

Prem Forecaster: Leicester now title faves, Newcastle clear of drop zone

Former Arsenal player Sol Campbell believes that Leicester City can win the Premier League title if they keep their nerve.

On the 25th matchday of the 2014-15 Premier League season, Leicester City lost 2-1 at Arsenal, falling deeper into the Premier League basement with just 17 points.

One year later, Leicester City won its 25th game of the season, beating Manchester City 3-1 on Saturday and moving five points clear atop the league table (53 total points).

While the Foxes were already in first place entering the weekend, Saturday's win moved them atop the virtual standings for the first time this season. They are now the title favorite, according to both ESPN's Soccer Power Index (SPI) and the bookmakers.

Let's examine how this wild weekend affected the Premier League's three major races -- the title, top-four and relegation battles -- using SPI's projections (click here for more info on SPI). Plus, we preview two high-stakes matchups this weekend: Arsenal-Leicester City and Manchester City-Tottenham.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew pleased with point at Swansea

Scott Dann's second half finish saw Crystal Palace draw 1-1 with Swansea City.

Alan Pardew was relieved that his Crystal Palace side finally stopped the rot with a 1-1 draw at Swansea.

The Eagles avoided a sixth straight Premier League defeat when defender Scott Dann cancelled out Gylfi Sigurdsson's superb first-half free kick.

The game could have either way after Dann's 47th-minute leveller but Palace boss Pardew conceded the Eagles had been carrying some unwanted baggage in recent weeks.

Crystal Palace not safe from Premier League relegation danger - Pardew

Francesco Guidolin acknowledged Crystal Palace as a good team, praising new signing Emmanuel Adebayor.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has warned his struggling side they could be sucked into a relegation battle if they do not turn around their faltering form.

The Eagles sit 10 points above the Premier League's bottom three, having lost their last five league games, and Pardew knows they need to reverse that run.
