Norwich cruised into the EFL Cup third round with an emphatic 6-1 win over League One Coventry at Carrow Road.

Canaries boss Alex Neil made 11 changes from the side that drew 1-1 in the Championship at bitter rivals Ipswich on Sunday but the hosts still had far too much class for Tony Mowbray's side.

Kyle Lafferty scored his first Norwich goal since September 2015 in a rare start for the Northern Ireland international before Sergi Canos doubled the lead prior to the break.

West Ham defender Lewis Page sent to Coventry on five-month loan

Slaven Bilic admits that the atmosphere was better than he expected in West Ham's first game at the Olympic stadium.

Coventry have signed full-back Lewis Page on a five-month loan from West Ham.

Page, 20, progressed through the West Ham academy and made his debut for the Premier League club in 2015 before spending a month on loan with Cambridge. He will now stay at League One side Coventry until Jan. 12.

Coventry manager Tony Mowbray said on his club's website: "Lewis is a very technical young footballer, who has already benefited from a successful loan spell away from his parent club.

Coventry could have grabbed an early lead, but Jack Stephens sliced off target despite being unmarked six yards out.

Oldham went close midway through the first half when Curtis Main's...

Joe Cole signed for Coventry in January.

Former England international Joe Cole is set to sign for North American Soccer League (NASL) Tampa Bay Rowdies, according to his current manager at Coventry City, Tony Mowbray.
