Tim Howard kept a clean sheet in his debut for the Colorado Rapids against the reigning MLS Cup champions.

Tim Howard made two saves on his Colorado debut as the Rapids played to a 0-0 draw with the Portland Timbers on Monday night.

Howard dove to his right to stop Darren Mattocks' right-footed shot in the 54th minute and denied Lucas Melano with his foot 10 minutes later.
