Carlos Rivas scored a screamer and Kaka scored in his return as Orlando made it five straight wins at their new stadium.

Kaka scored in his return from injury and Orlando City stayed perfect at its new stadium with a 2-0 win over the Colorado Rapids.

Orlando has won all five of its home games since opening the new venue this season and own the best record in the league with 18 points from seven matches.

NYCFC made a late push but could not overcome the 2-goal deficit created from Orlando City's Cyle Larin.

Cyle Larin scored twice to help Orlando City coach Jason Kreis notch a win against his former team, beating New York City 2-1 on Sunday to move atop the Eastern Conference standings.

Orlando City has won three straight and has a two-point lead over Columbus and the New York Red Bulls in the conference. The loss for NYCFC ended its 11-game unbeaten streak at home.

Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard has apologized for an altercation with a fan that led to a three-game suspension, but also criticized the security arrangements at Children's Mercy Park, the home venue of Sporting Kansas City.

Colorado Rapids' Nana Boateng out 8-10 weeks with broken back

Tim Howard has received a three-match ban for the Rapids after 'an altercation with fans,' the FC crew debate its validity.

Colorado Rapids midfielder Nana Boateng will miss an extended amount of time after suffering a lower back injury in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Real Salt Lake.

The team announced on Wednesday the former Manchester City man will miss 8-10 weeks with three fractured lumbar vertebrae. No surgery will be required.

Brooks Lennon lifts RSL at Rapids; Orlando's Cyle Larin beats Galaxy late

Real Salt Lake scored two late goals to overcome Colorado and win the first Rockey Mountain Cup match of the year.

Brooks Lennon's spectacular first MLS goal helped Real Salt Lake rally for a 2-1 win on Saturday at the 10-man Colorado Rapids, who were playing their first game without the suspended Tim Howard.

With Zac MacMath deputizing in goal, Colorado took the lead in the 29th minute when Kevin Doyle raced into the box to head home Marlon Hairston's cross.
