Andre-Pierre Gignac has been excellent in his first season for Tigres.

France international Andre-Pierre Gignac continued his fine goal-scoring form on Saturday, netting the only goal as Tigres overcame Chiapas 1-0 to advance to the Liga MX Apertura 2015 semifinals.

Gignac also scored in the 2-1 victory in the first leg last Wednesday and now has 13 goals in 17 Liga MX matches since joining Tigres last June.

Club America will take a three-goal advantage over Leon into the Liga MX Apertura 2015 quarterfinal second leg on Saturday, after defeating La Fiera 4-1 in the first leg on Wednesday.

Leon took the lead in the Estadio Azteca through Ignacio Gonzalez in the 12th minute, but Club America came storming back to make it 3-1 by half-time.
