Luton will give a late fitness test to experienced midfielder Alan McCormack ahead of the Sky Bet League Two clash with managerless Chesterfield.

McCormack was forced off during the first half of last weekend's win at Wycombe and has been suffering with fatigue, according to manager Nathan Jones.

Captain Scott Cuthbert is hoping for a recall to the Hatters' defence after coming off the bench to score at Adams Park following a game out through suspension.

Midfielder Lawson D'Ath is a long-term absentee...

A late strike from Mallik Wilks gave Accrington a 2-1 victory at Chesterfield in Sky Bet League Two and increased the pressure on under-fire manager Gary Caldwell.

Billy Kee fired Accrington ahead after Bradley Barry was sent off and although Kristian Dennis equalised from the spot, Wilks won it eight minutes from time.

Accrington should have scored in the third minute when Sean McConville was unmarked six yards out but Joe Anyon made an excellent save.

Anyon pushed Kee's header onto the bar in the...

Brandon Hanlan's first ever league goal rescued Colchester a point in a 1-1 draw with Chesterfield.

The Charlton loanee came off the bench to head in after Drey Wright had flicked on Ryan Jackson's throw with seven minutes remaining, to claim a point for the hosts.

Sammie Szmodics and Nicke Kabamba went close early on, before Chesterfield keeper Tommy Lee denied Szmodics' well-struck volley.

But U's keeper Sam Walker saved Jordan Flores' effort, before Chesterfield went ahead two minutes before half-time...

Chris Porter scored twice as Crewe went on the rampage in a 5-1 defeat of a desperate Chesterfield side in League Two.

It looked ominous for the Spirietes as early as the sixth minute at Gresty Road when Porter took his tally for the season to five as he drove past Tommy Lee.

Chesterfield's Chris O'Grady volleyed over when well placed and Matthew Briggs skied a presentable far-post chance on the stroke of half-time.

But the game was out of reach of Gary Caldwell's men soon after the break with Crewe...

Chesterfield survived a second-half sending off to hold Coventry to a goalless draw at the Proact Stadium.

The home side had Robbie Weir dismissed on the hour but Coventry could not take advantage as Marc McNulty wasted good chances.

Coventry created early openings with McNulty forcing Tommy Lee to turn a 25-yard shot behind before Peter Vincenti headed a Jodi Jones cross over at the back post in the 22nd minute.

But Coventry goalkeeper Lee Burge kept his side level by tipping over a 25-yard Jordan...
