Chelsea forward Eden Hazard confident of returning to top form

ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop doesn't think Chelsea played all that well against Tottenham, even though Spurs are a strong side.

Eden Hazard says discussion over his best position will stop once he starts scoring for Chelsea again.

With Diego Costa relegated to the bench, Hazard was played in the No. 9 position in the 0-0 draw at Tottenham on Sunday.

Hazard enjoyed the freedom of his new role, heading over with one good chance and then seeing a volley well saved by Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. But he is still without a goal this season as a debate on where he should be playing continues.

Chelsea's Diego Costa 'privileged' despite bench role at Spurs - Mourinho

Diego Costa appeared frustrated in remaining an unused substitute as Chelsea played Tottenham, and threw his warm-up bib.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes Diego Costa is lucky to be the last player to be benched.
Tottenham entered this match aiming to finish top four, however both Chelsea and Spurs ended the day sharing the points.
ESPN FC's Paul Mariner says Tottenham missed a golden opportunity to close in on the leaders in their 0-0 draw against Chelsea.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said he has "no problems" with Diego Costa despite leaving the striker on the bench against Tottenham Hotspur.

Costa was an unused substitute as Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

On Friday, Mourinho asked the Spain international, who has scored three Premier League goals this season, to give him more when not on the ball.

Diego Costa was not used by Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

Costa was seen throwing off his bib during the match at Spurs, and Mourinho said: "If he wants to...

Chelsea's Asmir Begovic prepared for Thibaut Courtois' return from injury

Jose Mourinho says his side must play like they're still fighting for the Premier League title, despite languishing near the bottom.

Asmir Begovic has said he will accept Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's decision if he returns Thibaut Courtois to the side when he comes back from injury.

Begovic, who signed for Chelsea from Stoke in the summer, has deputised for first-choice goalkeeper Courtois after the Belgium international sustained a serious knee injury in September.

Mourinho recently confirmed Courtois will return to action in December, and Begovic is prepared that he may soon lose his place in the XI.

"I don't think about...

Jose Mourinho says he, Eden Hazard 'have different concepts of No. 10'

The ESPN FC panel can't see how Chelsea will beat Tottenham, but Janusz Michallik thinks they can pull it off.

Eden Hazard will never be Jose Mourinho's perfect No. 10.

The Chelsea manager has warned Hazard, the Belgium playmaker whose performances have dipped from the award-winning displays of last term, that the central playmaking role is not for him ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash at Tottenham.

Hazard says he persuaded Mourinho to play him centrally in last week's win over Norwich, but the Portuguese believes the 24-year-old is more effective on the left wing, where he was deployed to devastating...
