Cesc Fabregas says Chelsea are still hungry, ready for title defence

Chelsea captain John Terry and defender Gary Cahill speak about facing Petr Cech after the keeper's move to Arsenal.

Cesc Fabregas can see his Chelsea teammates' desire for success is undiminished by winning the Premier League as Jose Mourinho's men bid to retain the title this term.

Since Mourinho led Chelsea to back-to-back titles in 2004-05 and 2005-06 only Manchester United, with three in a row until 2008-09, have successfully retained the Premier League title.

Mourinho believes Chelsea will face competition from United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in their bid for another title.

Community Shield win vs. Arsenal can send a message - Chelsea's Gary Cahill

Former Chelsea man Frank Leboeuf insists that Chelsea will repeat as Premier League champions.

Gary Cahill wants Chelsea to lay down a marker in Sunday's Community Shield clash with Arsenal at Wembley.

England defender Cahill played down the significance of the result at Wembley, but nevertheless wants a victory.

"It won't have an impact on the season as a whole, but it's a marker," Cahill said. "Every time you take to the field you want to win the game. It's a big...

Loic Remy is targeting a more significant role at Chelsea team as they look to defend their Premier League title this season.

Remy, 28, signed from Queens Park Rangers last summer but found consistent playing time hard to come by, with Diego Costa preferred by manager Jose Mourinho as the side's lone striker.

The France international made six top-flight starts during the campaign and in 2015-16 he faces increased competition following the addition of Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco this summer.

Remy,...

Emmanuel Petit backs former club Arsenal to win Premier League title

ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop and Alexis Nunes break down the news that Arsenal's Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla have signed new long term deals with the club.

Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has backed his former club to land this season's Premier League title with the help of "fantastic" signing Petr Cech.

The ex-France International, who helped the Gunners to a league and FA Cup double in 1998, made the prediction during a visit to Singapore where he hosted a football workshop for local children.

Petit was an integral part of Arsene Wenger's revolution that saw the London club adopt a sleek passing game which won them three Premier League titles and six...
