Roma sign Colombian striker Victor Ibarbo to loan deal

Colombia let another lead slip through their fingers in a 2-2 draw with Senegal.
Colombia international Victor Ibarbo is on his way to Rome.

Roma have agreed a deal to sign Colombia striker Victor Ibarbo on loan from Cagliari until the end of the season.

The deal will see Roma pay Cagliari 2.5 million euros and also have the option of signing the 24-year-old on a permanent basis in the summer for 12.5 million euros, the Giallorossi announced on their website.

Roma are second in Serie A but have drawn their last four matches to fall seven points behind leaders Juventus.
