Caen recorded their second win in their opening three Ligue 1 games as Julien Feret and Herve Bazile earned them a 2-0 success against Bastia.

Yann Karamoh hit a post while Caen also missed a penalty in the first half, with Ivan Santini fouled by Mathieu Peybernes but seeing his spot-kick saved by Jean-Louis Leca.

Ronny Rodelin was also denied by the upright after half-time but played a key role in the opening goal in the 63rd minute, twice providing return passes for Feret to score.

Alexandre Lacazette continued his impressive start to the season with a pair of penalties to take his tally to five goals in two games as Lyon beat Caen 2-0 in Ligue 1.

The sought-after striker made his first impact of the campaign with a hat trick in Nancy last weekend, and he proved clinical twice from 12 yards on Friday night to hand the hosts back-to-back wins.

Lyon began on the front foot and Corentin Tolisso tested Remy Vercoutre with a header before Lacazette had a penalty claim waved away...

Ivan Santini marked his Ligue 1 debut with two goals as Caen staged an impressive comeback to win 3-2 at home to Lorient.

The visitors stunned the Stade Michel-d'Ornano by storming into a two-goal lead with just 19 minutes on the clock thanks to a brace by Benjamin Moukandjo, the second of which came from the penalty spot.

However, Zargo Toure's 26th-minute red card for hauling down Santini changed the complexion of the match and by half-time Caen were level as Ronny Rodelin and Santini found the...

Andy Delort would be allowed to leave Caen if Tigres offer €10 million

Caen say they are willing to negotiate for Andy Delort's transfer to Tigres.

Caen's general manager Xavier Gravelaine has said that Andy Delort could join Tigres for €10 million but believes that the striker is not helping himself by trying to force through a transfer.

Delort, 24, is wanted by Tigres after scoring 12 goals in Ligue 1 last season and he has not returned to training at Caen in the hope of sealing a move to Mexico.

Gravelaine told L'Equipe that Tigres had not made a new bid for Delort since he revealed their interest in the player last month.

He maintains...

Lille striker Ronny Rodelin signs three-year deal with Caen

Ronny Rodelin impressed out on loan.

Forward Ronny Rodelin has signed for Caen from Ligue 1 rivals Lille.

The Frenchman, who was born on the island of La Reunion, scored 10 goals while on loan last season and was contracted at Lille until the end of the 2016-17 season. But he has signed a three-year contract at Caen and has been given the No. 12 shirt.

Caen sporting director Alain Caveglia told the club's official website: "Ronny was our No. 1 priority for the forward line. It took time to materialise, but we are really happy...
