John Coleman is likely to shuffle his Accrington pack again for Burton's visit to east Lancashire.

Coleman made three changes against York on Boxing Day, with loanee John O'Sullivan's return to Blackburn resulting in the only enforced change, as Stanley fell to a 1-0 loss.

Kal Naismith, James Gray and Shay McCartan are all options if Coleman opts to shake things up once again.

Luke Simpson will continue in goal after West Brom loanee Jack Rose (hip) was ruled out for a couple of weeks.

Burton consolidated their place among the League Two frontrunners with a comfortable 2-0 win over Tranmere.

The Brewers started the game on the front foot and Rovers were always up against it after having wing-back Liam Ridehalgh sent off after only 23 minutes.

That was also the incident which led to Burton taking the lead. Ridehalgh hauled down Kelvin Maynard inside the box as he raced on to a cute pass from Matty Palmer. Damien McCrory fired the resulting penalty low to goalkeeper Owen Fon Williams'...

Promotion chasing Burton piled the misery on managerless Hartlepool with a 4-0 victory - their best of the season.

With Sam Collins in caretaker charge for the second time this season, Pools were looking to bounce back from their FA Cup exit at the hands of non-league Blyth Spartans.

But after a promising start, they were sunk by an Alex MacDonald double either side of half time, with further goals from Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and Stuart Beavon.

Pools made a bright start and full-back Darren Holden...

Burton and Exeter missed their chance to put pressure on their promotion rivals as they fought out a 1-1 draw at St James' Park.

A win for Burton would have seen them go joint-top of League Two, while Exeter would have moved into the play-off places with maximum points.

In a first half of very few chances, it was Exeter that dominated possession, but defences were well on top.

Alex Nicholls missed the best chance of the half for Exeter when he volleyed wide after being teed up by strike partner Tom...

Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro fired a late winner as Shrewsbury beat fellow high-flyers Burton 1-0 at New Meadow

The victory made it 12 victories from 14 home games in all competitions for the home team, while it was a first defeat for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as manager of Burton.

Shrewsbury had the better of a tight first half but chances were in short supply. Josh Passley, making his debut on loan from Fulham, teed up an early opportunity for James Collins but the striker was unable to hit the target.
