Manchester City set to sign Enes Unal from Bursaspor

Manchester City have reached an agreement to sign striker Enes Unal from Bursaspor, the Turkish club's president has said.

Bursaspor president Recep Bolukbasi told Lig TV that Turkey international Unal, 18, was set to travel to England once the work permit procedure had been completed to undertake a medical.

He said the fee would be around €3 million plus a 10 percent sell-on clause.

Bursaspor out of Europa League after appeal to CAS rejected

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- Turkish club Bursaspor have been excluded from the Europa League next season after failing in their appeal against a one-year ban from UEFA for breaking the governing body's financial fair play rules.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced the decision on Thursday.

In 2012, Bursaspor were fined and given a one-year ban from UEFA club competition -- deferred for a three-year probationary period -- for breaching FFP.

Bursaspor sign Frey

Bursaspor have announced the signing of goalkeeper Sebastien Frey from Genoa.

The former France international, 33, has spent the last 15 years in Italy, spending time at clubs including Inter Milan, Parma and Fiorentina.

He now moves to Bursaspor, where he will replace Scott Carson, who has returned to England with Championship side Wigan Athletic.

Frey, who has agreed a three-year contract with the Turkish side, posted on his Twitter feed after completing the switch.
