NYCFC set pre-season friendlies vs. European clubs in Manchester

New York City FC have arranged two pre-season friendlies against European opposition in Manchester as they prepare for their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.

They will face Scottish side St Mirren on Feb. 10 and former Danish champions Brondby five days later.

Liverpool have confirmed that centre-back Daniel Agger has rejoined his former club Brondby.

Daniel Agger close to transfer move from Liverpool to Brondby

Liverpool centre-back Daniel Agger is set to complete a move back to his first club Brondby before Monday's transfer deadline.

The Danish Superliga club's chairman Jan Bech Andersen confirmed on Aug. 1 that he wanted to sign Agger. Sources have told ESPN FC that they are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Liverpool for the 29-year-old.
