Lee Johnson takes charge of Bristol City for the first time when Ipswich visit Ashton Gate.

Johnson watched on from the stand when the Robins won 1-0 at Charlton last weekend to move out of the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone, and the former Barnsley boss is expected to name an unchanged side against play-off hopefuls Ipswich.

Korey Smith has been troubled by a "niggle" since The Valley victory, according to Johnson, but the midfielder should be fit to take his place in the City team.

Lee Johnson watched from the stands as his new club Bristol City beat fellow Championship strugglers Charlton 1-0 thanks to a Lee Tomlin penalty at a blustery Valley.

On Saturday, Johnson was named as Steve Cotterill's replacement - after the former boss left the Robins last month - and will keep John Pemberton as his head coach after the stand-in boss guided City out of the bottom three in his last game in charge.

The most one-sided first half at Ashton Gate this season saw Birmingham...

Souleymane Doukara won the battle of the French strikers as Leeds stretched their unbeaten home run to six matches with a 1-0 victory over relegation threatened Bristol City.

Doukara struck his third goal in four games in the 59th minute to settle a lacklustre contest, enlivened by some intricate footwork from City's own Frenchman Jonathan Kodija.

Chris Wood returned to the Leeds bench after a four-match absence with a hamstring injury and his introduction nine minutes into the second half sparked...
